A Modern Woman's Journey of Life

3 Books to Help You Tap into YOUR Creative Genius In 2022.

2021 was a HUGE year of transformation and personal growth for me. Most of my experience with growth spurts before 2021 had been through business achievements. These were easily able to measured by the financial growth in our companies. However, it was much harder for me to see my personal growth in Self-Love and Creativity. So I made it a mission to explore these areas in my life in 2021 and I’d like to share with you the top three books that I believe catapulted me into learning WHO I am, what my Genius is and how to truly enjoy and pursue these gifts with passion and delight.

These books provide glorious mirrors for you to see your reflection in and admire the beauty that you as your very own unique individual IS! They will show you how to love yourself, partake in pure pleasures for pleasures sake and how to share your Genius with those you love. Once I was able to see these beautiful facets of myself (and realize I was more than a strong independent work horse), I found I was then able to see the path that lead me to exploring these faucets more deeply without judgment or expectations other than to explore for the sake of pure curiosity and enjoyment.

The most intriguing part of this year long journey for me has been that all I was responsible for was taking the time to observe myself, and then do the things that made me FEEL happy, amazing and the best version of myself. As a HUGE BONUS I noted that the more I did these things the more happy, at peace and excited about life and the endless possibilities that it had to offer I was.

So, without further ado, here are the lovely books that accompanied me on my journey to finding my true Creative Genius!

The Big Leap – Gay Hendricks

Gay artfully unearths and shines a light on the barriers we often unconsciously impose on ourselves, thereby sequestering our genius, instead of allowing us to shine. I found this self-imposition chained me to my comfort zones regarding wealth, love, abundance, and relationships, preventing me from truly EXPANDING, coming into my own and having a life I truly enjoy, a life of Joy. This book will help you break old thought processes and patterns that have stunted your success and expand you into the joyful being you truly are.

Pussy A Reclamation –  Regena Thomashauer

I believe this is a book for every woman in the world. The words of wisdom from Regena Thomashauer illuminate and verbalize the power of Womanhood. Curiosity got the Pussy in this case (Regena had me at the tile) I knew if someone was audacious enough to title their book PUSSY it HAD to be good! What I found was beyond good! This book felt like the “owner’s manual” I thought I was supposed to receive as a birthright but somehow never made it to me! It illuminated me, reflected the beauty I and all women are, as well as helped me to see the gifts and powers that come with being a woman and how to truly love and fully embrace this feminine journey. To say this book helped me to elevate my thoughts, words, and actions as woman would be putting it mildly!

The Artist Way – Julia Cameron

This book was the icing on the cake for me! It took me to levels I didn’t even know existed!  Julia found a way to create a safe place for me to explore the amazing possibilities I had hidden within myself, all while feeling supported and guided. Many times when I had tried previously to dive deep into self-exploration I came up confused and unsure if I had really accomplished anything other than puzzling myself further. Juila’s thoughtful process helped enlighten and illuminate the artist within myself and the joy that pursuing my creativity truly produced. The journey was so delightful that I read the book twice this year!

I hope that if you choose to read any or all of these books you enjoy them and yourself as much as I did!

Here’s to exploring our creativity and joy in 2022!
